The evening’s guest speaker was Mr. Scott Lake, founder and co-founder of number of web 2.0 and social media startups (Think SM, SWIX and Shopify) in the Ottawa area. He briefly talked about his past experience with startup businesses, the advantages and drawbacks of living the entrepreneurial life. In his words, the main advantages being that one gets to chose with whom to work with, what to work on and being in control of ones own destiny.
