About
TalentBridge is an Ottawa, Canada, based initiative that seeks to:
1) accelerate the development of the next generation of innovation leaders; and,
2) create meaningful linkages between these innovation leaders and the business and innovation community inOttawa.
The program facilitates these objectives through:
- Structured mentoring and training built around personal and professional development
- Active involvement of Ottawa SME’s in the development, training and engagement of future innovation leaders
- The active engagement of entrepreneurially inclined talent in Ottawato facilitate close working relationships with SME leadership
The program seeks to assist the students with:
Professional Skill Development
Through a combination of seminars, workshops, professional events and one-on-one mentorship, all TalentBridge participants have access to professional development opportunities in sales, marketing, project management, relationship development, relationship management, business communications and innovation management.
Entrepreneurial Training
TalentBridge participants are encouraged to work on their own entrepreneurial ideas during their TalentBridge placements. Individual support is provided through a combination of mentorship and training – on an as needed basis and as requested.
Business Relationships
TalentBridge participants are encouraged to work on existing, or develop their own community specific micro-initiatives to facilitate exposure to real life project development and management, while helping anchor strategic relationships with the broader business community.
